At Thorpe House, we believe that education is about far more than tests. Our curriculum is tailored to develop the talents and abilities of every single girl.

Specialist teachers provide swimming lessons for girls aged 4-16, ballet from age 3 to 11, speech and drama from age 3-13 and tennis for girls aged 5-11. These lessons are included in our fees, which are the lowest in the area.

It is well-known that girls succeed academically in single-sex schools. Our senior girls take, in general, a maximum of nine GCSEs, to ensure that they gain the best grades possible and leave time for their many other activities. In 2008, they achieved the best GCSE results of any non-selective school in the county.
