Creative play is important
Learning Through Play

Our nursery pupils, aged three and four, occupy a large room that is all their own. We encourage them to explore and enjoy the wendy house, the playground and the lawns.

In addition to the national curriculum, nursery girls enjoy drama, ballet and French from the age of three, and swimming from the age of four. They have ample opportunity for creative play, from bubbles and sandpits through to home corner, cookery, and arts and crafts.

The girls have their own area of the school library, complete with cuddly toys, beanbags, polka dot cushions and tiny chairs. They choose their own books from boxes and shelves, developing an independence of thought that will stay with them as they grow.
